Beware of Coyotes
Coyotes are found in many, if not most, of America's national parks. When programs to eradicate large predators thrived in the early-1900s, coyotes proved wily and were rarely eradicated, unlike larger predators like grizzly bears and wolves. Today, they live across most of North and Central America. Usually, coyotes are content to remain wild and apart from people. However, they are often fed by visitors to the national parks. When this happens, the coyotes become accustome

Follow Park Rules
It should go without saying that you should follow all posted rules while in the National Parks, but apparently, it does not go without saying. In September, two men walked onto the cone of Old Faithful at Yellowstone National Park. Not only is this dangerous, it can damage the geyser. For their actions, they were sentenced to 10 days in jail, probation, a ban on visiting Yellowstone, and a fine. You can click this link to read more about what happened.
